Pediatric Dentistry
Keeping your kid’s teeth strong and healthy is as important to us as it is to you. With that in mind, our pediatric dentist promotes prevention—both at home and in our office! We do our best to prevent cavities and strengthen young teeth to set the stage for lifelong healthy smiles. Working with you, our board-certified pediatric dentist will teach your children how to effectively brush and floss, and when necessary, recommend preventive treatments such as fluoride and dental sealants. While our pediatric dentist hopes your child never experiences oral infection or disease, cavities are sometimes an unfortunate part of life. In the event that your kid’s dentist notices the start of an infection, we will work with you to develop recommendations for a treatment plan based on their unique needs. Everything about our practice is designed to create a comfortable dental experience for you and your child.
- Crowns for primary teeth are generally pre-fabricated, off-the-shelf restorations which come in a variety of sizes, and can be trimmed/adjusted to fit individual teeth.
- A root canal can be performed and save a tooth that would otherwise have to be removed. Generally, this treatment is fairly simple, and usually, the tooth does not have any discomfort after the procedure is completed.
